2012 Catholic Charities Annual Appeal
I Am Catholic…
The theme for the 2012 Appeal is “I Am Catholic…” Being Catholic is a life of faith, hope and love – a life shared in communion with Jesus and with each other. The 2012 Catholic Charities Annual Appeal invites us to celebrate our lives as Catholics and to participate in caring for all of God’s people, regardless of their religious, social or economic backgrounds. This year marks 100 years of the Diocese of Cleveland Catholic Charities meeting the challenges of hunger, unemployment, homelessness, disabilities, addictions and isolation. Our programs, services and emergency assistance give hope to people in every city and suburb in Northeast Ohio.
Every cent of your financial support stays here in Northeast Ohio – from Cleveland to Akron, and Lorain to Ashtabula – to help more than 330,000 people in our diocese each year overcome tragedy, poverty, unemployment and other life challenges. Over 150 services are offered at more than 60 sites and all are grounded in Catholic social teaching and dedicated to helping the poor and marginalized, just as Christ did. On this page you will find the 2012 appeal materials. If you are in need of additional materials, or have any questions, please contact Meghan McGuan at mmcguan@catholiccommunity.org or call 800-869-6525 ext. 1049.
