The Catholic Community Foundation, a supporting organization of the Diocese of Cleveland, announces the appointment of Robert J. Rogers as the new Board of Directors Chair, assuming a position held for the past two years by Fred M. DeGrandis.

He has served as the Board Vice-Chair since 2018. Rogers is the Former Managing Principal and current Advisory Board Member at Findley, an independent human resources and employee benefits consulting and solutions firm. Rogers joined the firm in 1983 and serves in a client management capacity for several of the firm’s largest clients.

“It is an honor to help lead the Catholic Community Foundation during this very important time in our Diocese as we look to provide support to our parishes, schools, priests, seminary, Catholic Charities and our Diocesan leadership. Our mission is to enhance the future of our Diocese and our community,” says Rogers.

The Catholic Community Foundation is also pleased to announce the 2020-2022 Board Officers:

  • Vice-Chair - Andrew J. Schuler, Regional Investment Director and Senior Vice President at PNC
  • Treasurer - Andrew J. Rebholz, Retired Chief Executive Officer at Travel Centers of America
  • Secretary - Maria O’Neil Ruddock, Coordinator of Training and Outreach Services for the Cleveland Hearing and Speech Center

Two new Board of Directors have been named: Gerald Schroer, Jr. President of The Schroer Group, which specializes in long-term healthcare facilities throughout Ohio and Michigan, and Margaret W. Wong, an immigration attorney and Founder and Managing Partner of Margaret W. Wong & Associates, LLC.

“Thank you to Fred DeGrandis for his inspired leadership as Board Chair. I am pleased to welcome Rob Rogers to this position as well as our newest board leadership and members,” says Patrick Grace, Executive Director for the Catholic Community Foundation. “As we continue to move through this uncertain time, it is reassuring to have such a highly talented Board of Directors, each able to bring their unique perspective to contribute to the Catholic community in Northeast Ohio. I am most grateful for their involvement and support.”
