The Catholic Community Foundation, a supporting organization of the Diocese of Cleveland, announces Reverend Steven K. Brunovsky, pastor of St. Hilary Parish in Fairlawn, as the newest member of the Board of Directors.
Fr. Steve, a native of Cleveland, is a graduate of Borromeo College of Ohio and Saint Mary Seminary and Graduate School of Theology. He was ordained a priest for service to the Diocese of Cleveland on May 30, 1992. His first assignment was at St. Paul Parish in Akron. Subsequently, he served as parochial vicar at St. Mary Parish in Hudson and St. Francis Xavier Parish in Medina. With his appointment on March 15, 2007, Fr. Steve became the fourth pastor of St. Hilary Parish in Fairlawn.
“As we continue to move through a time when parishes are directly impacted by safety and social distancing guidelines, and many of the faithful are engaging in parish life through live-streamed worship, we are grateful for the insights and wisdom that Fr. Steve brings to our Board,” says Patrick Grace, Executive Director for the Catholic Community Foundation.
The Catholic Community Foundation Board of Directors is under the direction of the Bishop of Cleveland and is responsible for providing leadership to the Catholic Community Foundation while demonstrating a commitment to its mission, vision, and programs.
