Dr. Debbie Brindza grew up in Garfield Heights and places a high value on Catholic education. A pediatrician, Debbie has deep compassion and concern for children and young adults. She believes Catholic education gives children not only a strong academic foundation, but also spiritual formation that will sustain them throughout their lives.
To help support the Church’s mission now and in the years ahead, Debbie established a Permanent Named Fund with the Catholic Community Foundation. Her fund benefits Catholic ministries that are important to her, including Catholic Charities and tuition assistance for students attending Trinity High School in Garfield Heights.
In Debbie’s words, “I like the idea that I know where my money will go and what will be done with it. The Catholic Community Foundation provides money for Catholic education and children’s health services—these follow the philosophies of what I believe in as a Catholic and as a pediatrician.”
While Debbie has already made gifts to her fund, she has taken the extra step of including a future gift for her fund in her estate plan. Her planning ensures her existing fund will receive a significant, additional gift when she passes, at no cost to her today. Debbie’s fund will have a lasting impact on the ministries that are so important to her, well into the future.
