A Letter from Bishop Malesic
My Dearest Brothers and Sisters of the Diocese of Cleveland,
Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ!
For more than 150 years, the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland has remained steadfast in faith and committed to living Christ-centered lives.
Today, as our world faces division and uncertainty, we know the deepest longing of every heart is to be known and loved. Our Catholic faith teaches that God is love, and in Him we find meaning and hope. In living for Christ and serving others, we come to know His heart more intimately and we go forth as missionary disciples who worship, evangelize, and serve.
To strengthen the heart of our Church—our parishes, schools, ministries, and people—I am pleased to introduce Called to Flourish: Our Church for the Future. This campaign is about drawing hearts to Christ and helping everyone encounter Him in a transformative way. I invite you to join me in this effort with your prayers, witness, and sacrificial generosity so that the Church in Northeast Ohio may grow stronger and more vibrant for generations to come.

Campaign Prayer
Lord Jesus Christ, through your Paschal Mystery, you draw us into friendship with God and send us forth, filled with the Holy Spirit, to live as missionary disciples in the world.
As stewards of your Church, we embrace the Called to Flourish: Our Church for the Future campaign as a sacred opportunity for renewal, deeper communion, and shared mission.
Strengthen us through the sacramental life of the Church. Make us bold in spirit, generous in love, and united in purpose, that our Christian witness may invite others to deeper faith, hope, and love.
Give success to all we do as laborers in your vineyard. May we seek the salvation of souls and come at last to our own Heavenly reward.
We ask this in your Holy Name, for you live and reign with God the Father in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, forever and ever. Amen.
