Women's Giving Circle 2025 Grant Cycle Overview
Throughout the past year, we’ve journeyed together in faith and generosity, thoughtfully reviewing twelve inspiring organizations — six from within our Diocese and six from the broader community. With prayerful discernment and collective wisdom, our members selected six finalists to present at our April 30 Pitch Party.
At the Pitch Party, each finalist shared their mission, vision, and impact with passion and purpose, making the case for why their organization should receive our highest grant award. Following the presentations, members cast their votes to determine how the funds would be distributed.
We are delighted to announce the 2025 grant recipients:
Diocesan Organization Grant Winners
- St. Agatha - At. Aloysius Parish Hunger Center – $17,000
- Ministry to the Incarcerated – $15,000
- Camp Happiness – $13,000
Community Organization Grant Winners
- Malachi House – $17,000

DIOCESAN FINALISTS
St. Agatha – St. Aloysius Parish Hunger Center aims to meet the growing demand for food and shelter, with weekly requests for assistance rising by 25%, by funding additional food purchases, rental and utility aid, and increased hours for the hunger center director.
Camp Happiness – Catholic Charities has provided an inclusive summer camp experience for children and young adults (ages 5–21) with cogitative and developmental disabilities, offering adapted activities like games, arts and crafts, swimming, and field trips to ensure every camper’s needs are met.
Ministry to the Incarcerated – The Diocese of Cleveland, supported by over 400 volunteers, serves state prisons, county jails, and juvenile facilities, striving to meet the overwhelming needs of inmates, including providing essential care packages for those released from the Cuyahoga County Jail and the Northeast Reintegration Center for Women.
COMMUNITY FINALISTS
Fill this House, a faith-based nonprofit, supports local youth aging out of foster care by providing essential household items for independent living, offering comfort, dignity, and a fresh start to encourage
stability and growth as young adults.
Malachi House compassionate end-of-life care for terminally ill individuals in need, offering spiritual, emotional, and physical support through trained staff, volunteers, and a dedicated hospice team to
ensure comfort and dignity in their final days.
Womankind offers free prenatal services to women without health insurance or financial and emotional support, including pregnancy testing, prenatal care, counseling, breastfeeding assistance, help with
Medicaid, SNAP, and WIC applications, as well as baby items, and referrals for parenting classes, adoption, and housing.
